Ingrid Manger is a German architect, working and living in Belgium.
She is founding partner of MangerNielsenArchitects together with architect Johan Nielsen.
She studied architecture at the School of Architecture Paris-Malaquais in Paris (France) where she graduated in 2003, as well as interior architecture at the University of Applied Science in Rosenheim (Germany), where she graduated in 1998 as engineer. Until 1994, she worked and graduated as carpenter/ cabinet maker in Germany.
She worked during several years in collaboration with various leading architects both in Belgium (a.o. Conixarchitects, Brussels) and France (X-TU architects, Paris).
Her strength lies in the diversity of her personnal career: architecture, interior architecture and design. Her method is based on theoretical research, high value of esthetism and love to details and materials.
She found Manger Nielsen Architects in 2010 in Brussels together with Johan Nielsen. Together they develop highly defined contemporary interventions, in parallel to their reflection about socially responsible space production.
